One of my earliest memories is of making art. Albeit, most would call it crayon scribbles. Today, it remains one of my favorite things to do. There is enjoyment to be had from taking a break and concentrating on drawing a simple object.
And, perhaps even more I have over the years developed a strong appreciation for the works of others. One of my favorite places to drop by and take a peek at the work of new artists is the Austin Art Garage. In particular, I have been drawn to Sari Shryack’s work. The strong use of color and wide brush strokes seem to push movement into her paintings.
