The Circle. The basic idea behind the show is that strangers from all walks of life meet and form relationships. Sounds a lot like MTV’s blockbuster reality show the Real World. Except no one meets face-to-face – everything takes place online. Although built for ratings, it is an interesting look at how we make judgments about each other online with not much information except a photo and text.

One component of the game that has been fascinating is some people choose to be a different person — and how that shapes the way they communicate with others. If you’re looking to spend an hour indulging in reality TV, I highly recommenced it!
